Job Responsibilities
As a Processing Engineer, you will be part of a team of processing engineers who together develop and improve our processes and products in close collaboration with production and the market. You will primarily work on projects to develop production processes and assist with daily operations concerning deviations. Quality issues and technical customer service are also part of your role, where you support our customers in their product development needs.
Projects and assignments are initiated in collaboration with production management, where you as a Processing Engineer have the responsibility and mandate to drive the project. This may include handling deviations, developing techniques and processes, or adapting production to materials and new standards. Much of the daily work involves collecting and analyzing information and data about materials, machinery, and processes. In operations, you will be responsible for planning and leading tests and trial runs in the facility.
Your contacts will consist of both internal and external international contacts. As a Processing Engineer, you report to the Development Manager.

For this position, we are looking for someone with a technical education at college or university level in, for example, metallurgy and materials engineering or mechanical engineering. If you also have some years of experience working with production or process development and perhaps project work, that would be seen as an advantage.
