Process Engineer at Nevel to help develop the energy processes of the future Are you an engineer who wants to be part of developing future energy and process solutions? Nevel is now looking for a Process Engineer to Åmotfors, where you'll have a key role in developing both the facility and the company's commitment to remote-controlled operational solutions. About the Position As a Process Engineer at Nevel, you'll have a central role in developing, optimizing, and ensuring stable operation of the company's Waste-to-Energy facility in Åmotfors, as well as supporting facilities connected to the Swedish market. This is a role for someone who wants to do more than maintain existing processes. Here you'll have the chance to drive improvements, develop working methods, and contribute to the next step in Nevel's growth journey. Your Tasks In this role, you will, among other things: Drive and participate in development and improvement projects. Analyze operational data and follow up on process performance. Perform troubleshooting, deviation management, and technical investigations. Prepare instructions, documentation, and improvement proposals. Conduct and lead operational and functional tests. Collaborate with operational staff, contractors, and technical specialists. Contribute to the development of future remote-controlled facilities. Qualifications We're looking for someone with an engineering degree in, for example, process, energy, mechanical, or chemical engineering, and a couple of years of experience from process industry, energy, or other technical operations. You have an analytical approach, enjoy solving problems, and are motivated by developing both processes and working methods. The role suits you if you are independent, curious, and want to take responsibility in an operation that is constantly evolving. Requirements for the position: Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Strong skills in Excel and experience working with data. Experience with troubleshooting, analysis, and improvement work. Good understanding of control systems and process optimization. Meritorious: Experience from energy, combined heat and power, or Waste-to-Energy operations. Experience with SCADA, DCS, or similar control systems. Experience with improvement projects and technical documentation. Experience with control room work or process monitoring. Operations in Åmotfors include a waste-fired Waste-to-Energy facility that supplies steam to industry and district heating.
