Process Engineer | Production Support Engineer (m/f)

Do you want to have a direct impact on how production operates? We're looking for a technically-minded person who enjoys finding solutions and will provide technical support to our precision manufacturing of measuring instruments. This position is ideal for an experienced technician or engineer, but also for someone with several years of experience in mechanical engineering production who wants to advance further into technical support, design, and process improvement. Your responsibilities will include: • provide technical support to production with day-to-day operational questions and problems • accept technical requests, coordinate their resolution, and track them until closure • find practical and effective solutions to technical problems in manufacturing and assembly processes • contribute to the introduction of new products and manufacturing processes and production relocation projects • collaborate with production, quality, and development (R&D) • prepare technical and drawing documentation for new products and fixtures • propose design solutions in the Siemens NX CAD system • test prototypes and evaluate results • optimize design solutions with regard to quality, costs, and manufacturing technology • contribute to process improvement and sharing of technical know-how between manufacturing locations • train production workers during the introduction of new products and processes • monitor new technologies, materials, and manufacturing procedures and look for their practical application Required knowledge and competencies: • Secondary/higher education in a technical field – mechanical engineering, mechatronics, production engineering, etc. • preferably corresponding several years of experience in a technical manufacturing environment • good technical thinking and ability to understand connections • ability to navigate technical documentation and drawings • experience in a manufacturing or technical environment • systematic approach and focus on finding solutions • good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments • willingness to occasionally travel between manufacturing facilities • English or German at a level allowing communication in an international environment • Advantages: • experience with ERP systems and technical databases • knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / KVP We'd be happy to offer you: • stable full-time employment at an international mechanical engineering company – a new manufacturing facility in 2026 and further production expansion • work on technically interesting projects with real impact on production • opportunity to develop in the areas of manufacturing processes, design, and technologies • a friendly team of colleagues and a reliable and fair manager • work location in Proboštov, with possibility of occasional home office • 5 weeks of vacation • meals allowance up to 2,800 Kč per month paid directly into salary • pension savings contribution 600 Kč per month • summer and winter bonus according to company results • start date by agreement • salary from 65,000 Kč – depending on experience and practice
