Jobcenter Recruitment is now seeking a press operator for Lagan Plåtprodukter. Here you'll have the opportunity to join an operation where quality, safety, and collaboration are important parts of daily work. You will receive the introduction and training needed to gradually become confident and independent in the role. Your responsibilities As a press operator, you will work close to production and be responsible, together with your colleagues, for ensuring that machines and the production flow function safely and efficiently. The work includes, among other things: Operating, setting up, and monitoring press machines Checking that manufactured parts meet the correct quality standards Performing routine maintenance and machine inspection Working according to applicable safety procedures and instructions Identifying and reporting any deviations in production Contributing to order, quality, and good production flow Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a technical interest and who enjoys practical work. You need to be thorough and responsible and understand the importance of following procedures regarding both quality and safety. We would like to see that you: Have previous experience from industry or manufacturing production Have experience operating machinery or similar tasks Have good technical understanding Are quality-conscious and meticulous in your work Can work both independently and with others Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks Forklift certification and overhead crane certification are advantageous. If you have previously worked as, for example, a machine operator, press operator, or in other industrial production, that is an advantage. About the position The position is full-time and you will initially be employed as a consultant at Jobcenter Recruitment and work on-site at Lagan Plåtprodukter. For the right person, there are good opportunities for long-term employment and the possibility to transition to direct employment with Lagan Plåtprodukter further down the line.
