About the School Praktiska Märsta offers students a concept where theory alternates with practical exercises both at school and at workplaces. At Praktiska, we set high standards for ourselves to create the best conditions for educational and enjoyable learning. Our teaching is characterized by flexibility, proximity, and practical learning. Our program offerings include: child and recreation program, construction and infrastructure program, electrical and energy program, and sales and service program. The school currently has approximately 150 students and about 20 staff members. The school is centrally located in Märsta, a five-minute walk from the commuter train station. Märsta is less than 40 minutes from Stockholm Central and less than 20 minutes from Uppsala Central. The school offers apprenticeship training in all programs from various grade levels. We are seeking individuals willing to substitute for both general upper secondary courses and our vocational subjects. If you have previous experience as a teacher, educator, or have worked in the construction or electrical industry, that is a significant advantage. We see you as an important and driving force in providing students with the best possible education, with a focus on student needs and in collaboration with school staff.
