Nature of Work
- direct work with children and adults with ASD in residential social services - Home for Persons with Health Disabilities (DOZP) and Relief Services (OS),
- providing support to clients with daily activities and during their stay in the service, creating a safe, stimulating and respectful environment,
- supporting users in managing routine self-care activities and household management,
- support in developing independence, social and communication skills,
- individual work with the client according to their needs and individual plan,
- helping clients navigate social environments, participate in everyday activities and exercise their rights and legitimate interests,
- training and consolidating skills leading to the highest possible degree of independence,
- supporting clients in meaningful leisure time and community engagement,
- collaboration with the multidisciplinary team of the service and related institutions,
- maintaining basic electronic documentation of the course of social service provision.
We Require
- education corresponding to the position of a social services worker according to Law No. 108/2006 Coll.
(minimum secondary education and completed qualification course for social services worker - or willingness to complete it),
- criminal record extract
- excellent communication skills and respectful approach to clients,
- ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- reliability, responsibility and psychological resilience,
- empathy, patience and ability for individual approach,
- willingness for further education,
- documentation of vaccination against viral hepatitis A and B, or willingness to undergo vaccination.
