What should you know about this service? We provide individualized support and assistance to people with intellectual and combined disabilities. At the same time, we enable their caregivers to get the necessary time for rest and handling personal matters. What would you do with us? When a user arrives at the facility, you will plan their daily program with them and provide support during various activities according to their needs and abilities. You help with everyday tasks - personal hygiene, getting dressed, meals, and mobility. You participate together in educational and training activities, for example in ceramics or carpentry workshops, and support their independence and development of social skills while cooking, cleaning, or spending leisure time. Part of the job also includes keeping daily documentation about the course of the day and the user's personal goals. Once a month, you will have a weekend shift as part of the residential form of the service. How do we imagine you? - capable of understanding clients with intellectual disabilities, individual approach - you are patient, empathetic, and manage challenging situations with calm and thoughtfulness - respect for the client's personality and an active approach to building contact - secondary education in social work fields or completion of a social services worker course - or willingness to complete the course - you are a team player, reliable - capable of handling challenging situations with clients calmly and thoughtfully - health fit to perform this work - capable of basic computer administration - experience working with people with intellectual disabilities is a plus - driver's license category "B" is a plus - vaccination against hepatitis B type What can we offer you? - meaningful and varied work with people who will energize you with their sincerity and energy - an approachable and supportive team - help in the beginning is a given - a full-time position (1.0 FTE) - work location Jihlava, start from January 1, 2026, or by agreement - an approachable HR policy, statutory additional vacation (6 weeks of vacation in total) - opportunity to deepen your skills and abilities through training and supervision If interested, please send your CV and cover letter
