Do you enjoy mechanical work, working from technical drawings, and finding practical technical solutions? Do you want to work on diverse tasks that have a direct impact on the production of buses, electric buses, and trolleybuses?
We are looking for an experienced and independent mechanic for the development workshop of SOR Libchavy. Your main task will be manufacturing new fixtures and providing technical support to production in situations that cannot be solved using standard procedures. Your work will also include involvement in prototype production and the implementation of new vehicle types.
What will be your main responsibilities?
o Manufacturing new production, assembly, and inspection fixtures according to technical documentation and the needs of individual production departments.
o Modification, repair, and optimization of existing fixtures to ensure production runs safely, with quality, and efficiently.
o Technical support for production in non-standard situations - solving problems, modifying parts, and finding practical solutions.
o Collaboration with design, process engineering, and production teams when proposing and verifying technical solutions.
o Involvement in the construction of prototypes and new vehicle types, particularly in verifying assembly, fitting components, and preparing solutions for serial production.
o Providing feedback to designers and process engineers on the feasibility of proposed solutions in practice.
What do we expect from you?
o Apprenticeships or secondary-level vocational education in mechanical engineering - for example, locksmith, toolmaker, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or mechanical technician.
o Good understanding of technical documentation and the ability to work from drawings.
o Practical experience with locksmith work, assembly, and workshop activities.
o Manual dexterity, technical and logical thinking.
o Independence and the ability to find functional solutions to unusual situations.
o Attention to detail and responsibility for the quality of work performed.
Advantages include:
