Job Description:
The worker provides direct care services to clients with health disabilities.
- assistance with dressing, hygiene, feeding, and mobility,
- help with using assistive devices,
- assistance with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks,
- accompaniment to doctor appointments, government offices, school, or work,
- help with shopping and running errands,
- accompaniment to cultural, sports, and leisure activities,
- support in building and maintaining social relationships,
- support in education and leisure time activities,
- support in studying, skill development, and developing interests,
- support in self-care training and social skills development,
- ensuring the safety of service users.
Responsibilities:
- for the safety of service clients and professional service delivery,
- for implementing the individual plan as a key worker in collaboration with the lead social worker,
- for collaboration on implementing individual service plans with other key workers,
- for providing care and services in accordance with applicable methodological regulations: social service provision methodology and work procedures.
Additional Provisions and General Obligations:
- responsibility for entrusted valuables,
- obligation to maintain confidentiality about service users, to keep confidential all facts learned during employment that cannot be shared with other persons in the employer's interest, unless otherwise specified by special law,
- obligation to comply with legal regulations and internal regulations of Naději,
- obligation to participate in meetings, team supervisions, and case supervisions,
- obligation to work independently,
- obligation to alert supervisors to identified shortcomings.
What experience, skills, and qualities will you need?
- Driver's license category B - active driver
- Willingness to learn new things, optimistic attitude toward life, sense of responsibility.
- Ability to communicate openly, work closely as a team, and seek solutions together.
- Moral integrity and values-oriented approach, ability to maintain perspective, and handle stressful situations with clients.
- Respectful approach to people with disabilities with focus on appropriate support and integration.
- Experience working with people with health disabilities or in community residential social services is not required but is an advantage.
- qualification completion - social services worker course, by latest 1 year, if you do not meet the education requirement
- Very good communication skills, stress resilience, pleasant demeanor, good work organization.
