Job Description
We are looking for a skilled worker for the position of Industrial Concrete Floor Finisher - Machine Troweled Floors at our company in Plzen.
The work can be divided into 3 parts: production preparation, concrete placement, and surface finishing.
Small-scale preparation is performed on the day of concrete pouring (e.g., minor metalwork), while larger-scale preparation (e.g., steel mesh installation, extensive metalwork) is done in advance before concreting.
Concrete placement occurs directly from the mixer truck or using a pump. Leveling fresh concrete to the required height is done manually or mechanically depending on site conditions. We frequently add dispersed reinforcement (steel fibers) to the concrete, which replaces standard concrete rebar. After the concrete hardens, surface finishing is done with powered trowels.
Workers are divided into two shifts:
Morning - preparation and concrete placement. Work typically begins at 6:00 (between 5:00 and 7:00), with end time depending on the specific project (size, complexity, and distance from company headquarters), usually between 14:00 and 17:00.
Night - machine surface finishing. Work begins between 10:00 and 14:00, with a highly variable end time depending on conditions. Surface finishing occurs in multiple stages; workers typically do not work continuously but have breaks between stages.
Successful Candidate Profile
• Hard working and physically fit.
• Craftsmanship skills with appropriate attention to detail.
• Driver's license category B, category C+E preferred (not professional drivers, but working floor finishers transporting necessary equipment and materials).
• Czech language proficiency.
• Previous flooring experience is not required; we will train you in floor finishing techniques.

• Typical gross salary ranges between 35,000 Kč and 60,000 Kč depending on hours worked and project availability.
