On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer within Microsoft Fabric who wants to be part of establishing, developing, and maintaining a modern data platform in a large organization.
You will have a central role in creating a secure, scalable, and efficient platform as well as enabling multiple teams to use Microsoft Fabric. The role combines platform development, governance, and hands-on data engineering.
Responsibilities
Establish and further develop Microsoft Fabric as a shared data platform.
Responsible for platform architecture, governance, security, and access control.
Design strategies for workspaces, domains, and capacity management.
Implement CI/CD, automation, and deployment pipelines.
Support teams with onboarding, PoCs, and new use cases.
Develop and optimize data pipelines, data integrations, and ETL/ELT flows.
Create standards, documentation, and shared working methods.
We are looking for you who have
Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Microsoft's modern data platforms.
Strong competence in Azure, data platform architecture, and governance.
Experience with security, access management, and capacity planning.
Experience with DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and automated deployments.
Hands-on experience with data engineering and data pipelines.
Ability to collaborate with both technical teams and the business.
Desirable
Experience with Fabric administration, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, lakehouse architecture, and DataOps.
