We work with everything from casting blanks to finished products, including machining, surface treatment, and assembly. Your Responsibilities
As Planning & Logistics Manager, you'll have a central, operational role where you become a vital part of keeping the entire flow running smoothly. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both customers and internal functions. You'll coordinate planning, material flows, and logistics while working closely with production to ensure the right capacity, materials, and deliveries at the right time.
Your responsibilities will include:
Production Planning and Monitoring – Plan and track production based on orders, forecasts, capacity, and material requirements. Work with capacity planning and daily prioritization between different needs and deliveries.
Preparation and Materials – Oversee preparation of new items and procurement of raw materials and direct materials, ensuring the right materials are available when needed.
Analysis and Finance – Track KPIs in production and finance, identify deviations, and drive improvements.
Logistics and Inventory – Manage internal transport, warehousing, goods receipt, and deliveries together with your team. Develop logistics flows and identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary inventory, free up production space, and streamline warehouse placement, forklift operations, and internal transport.
Customer and Administration – Receive orders and forecasts from customers, discuss capacity and delivery times, and collaborate with internal functions to ensure production and delivery.
Who Are You?
This is an exciting opportunity for you if you have experience in planning and/or logistics within manufacturing industry and enjoy a role where you can combine analysis and structure with close contact with production. We'd like you to have several years of experience in areas such as production planning, material planning, preparation, or similar. Previous experience from the foundry industry is a plus. To succeed in this role, you need experience with Monitor and strong Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written. You're comfortable working with numbers and monitoring, and you have the ability to see connections between production, materials, capacity, and finance.
As a person, you're analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You're receptive and understand the importance of first getting to know the business and building trust, but you're also confident in taking responsibility, making decisions, and driving work forward. We'd appreciate if you're communicative and responsible and have a talent for building good relationships with both colleagues and other functions in the organization. You also need a development-driven mindset and aren't afraid to think innovatively, question established practices, and share your own ideas.
