Preschool Educational Institution "Zīļuks" is seeking to hire
PRESCHOOL EDUCATION TEACHER as of 01.09.2026.
(fixed-term position)
Requirements for applicants:
Compliance with the requirements of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 regarding the necessary education and professional qualifications for pedagogues (can be a pedagogy student);
Latvian language proficiency in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law (C1 level);
High communication culture, professional ethics, and sense of responsibility;
Ability to plan and organize work, strong communication skills working with children, creativity, initiative, and enthusiasm;
Understanding of educational programs and their implementation;
Excellent skills in working with information technology (MS Office standard programs).
Main job responsibilities:
Plan and implement pedagogical work in accordance with the preschool education program implemented in the institution, preparing students for successful primary school education;
Ensure student adaptation, safety, and well-being in the educational institution, cooperate with student parents;
Improve the institution's developmental environment, material and methodological base, as well as your own professional competence and other responsibilities in accordance with the preschool teacher job description.
