We are currently seeking female personal assistants for an active 6-year-old boy living in Bromma.
The client is a 6-year-old boy with autism who lives with his parents in Bromma. On weekdays he attends preschool and afterward needs a personal assistant by his side. We are looking for someone who can work nights on weekdays 16:30-08:00 and weekends 08:00-18:00
The client is an active and creative boy who enjoys walks and time outdoors in the park. He is playful and enjoys playing with train tracks and Duplo, and has a great interest in animals, music, and instruments. He has limited verbal communication and uses TAKK and picture supports. He also has a TalkPad to support his communication.
You who are applying have a big heart and are committed to your work. You are confident, calm, playful, and empathetic. You have great patience and are communicative, with the ability to read situations, signals, and potential risks. Since the client is active and rarely sits still, you need to be able to keep up with his pace. We believe you are self-driven and proactive, and can help the client with a pedagogical and positive approach.
We would like to see that you have previous experience working with children, preferably with neurodevelopmental conditions. Experience with tube feeding and knowledge of working with TAKK is a plus.
What does the job of personal assistant entail?
As a personal assistant, you work with a person who has functional variation. You help with the things in everyday life that many take for granted, such as getting dressed, taking care of the home, personal hygiene, and participating in recreational activities. You make a big difference and help another person's daily life function.

have experience in care and support. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective bargaining agreement. Interviews are held on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
