Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance to individuals with disabilities who have been granted assistance under LSS or SFB. We strive to be an organization where everyone feels at home—customers, family members, and staff alike. To achieve this, we focus on quality over quantity. We want everyone at Omtanken to feel a sense of community, and therefore we ensure close collaboration at all levels. Our 10-year-old girl is looking for assistants. We are seeking a calm, warm, and responsible person who wants to work as a personal assistant for a 10-year-old girl with autism and epilepsy. The girl needs a calm and engaged adult who can create a sense of security, help her with everyday activities, and come up with fun activities that match her interests and needs. Work tasks may include: - Being a safe and positive support in daily life. - Helping with routines and activities. - Accompanying her on walks, outings, and leisure activities. - Encouraging play, communication, and social interaction on the girl's terms. - Being responsive to her needs and giving her time and space. - Collaborating with guardians and others in the girl's life. We are looking for someone who is: - Calm, secure, and patient. - Responsible and reliable. - Responsive and respectful. - Creative and enjoys coming up with activities. - Has an understanding of autism or is interested in learning more. - Enjoys working with children. Experience with autism, children, or work as a personal assistant is a merit, but the most important thing is that you are a calm and engaged person who sees the girl's strengths and meets her where she is.
