ELFA Assistans i Sverige AB provides personal assistance services and works with individuals with disabilities who want to live active and fulfilling lives. All operations are guided by LSS principles regarding individuals' rights to participation, self-determination, integrity, and influence. Our vision is to be recognized as a competent and personal assistance company that through collaboration achieves high levels of satisfaction among users, families, and employees. We are looking for a respectful, calm, and attentive personal assistant with experience working closely with individuals with significant disabilities. The user is a 29-year-old man with extensive physical multiple disabilities. He communicates primarily non-verbally, which requires good listening skills and understanding of alternative communication methods. You will be an important support in his daily life – both at home and during activities outside the home, as you will assist him with both personal care and social activities. We are looking for someone who: - Is responsible and feels comfortable working independently - Has experience in personal assistance or similar work - Has knowledge of tube feeding, medication management, exercise, transfers, and support with all daily activities - Is attentive and has experience with non-verbal communication - Is fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and it is desirable that you also speak Syriac Care and health education is meritorious but experience and personal qualities will weigh more heavily.
