About the Position
Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, your main responsibilities will be to help the customer with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the customer's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
Our customer is a 27-year-old man who lives in Dalby. He has a strong interest in TV and computer games, military history, and motorsports.
The customer is looking for an assistant who is cheerful, flexible, and resourceful. Furthermore, you should be confident, patient, and professional in your role.
Who Are You?
The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as an assistant and the customer.
For this position, you must:
have a B-category driver's license
have previous experience working in healthcare/care or personal assistance
have good Swedish, both spoken and written
have good physical fitness
have experience with mobility aids, lifting/harness
be a non-smoker
For this position, it is an advantage if you:
have experience working with respiratory aids
share the customer's interest in games
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Our customer prefers male applicants but all applications will be considered.
Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary
The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day, evening, and night. Working hours are 08:00-22:00, 22:00-08:00 (active night hours), 08:00-16:00, and 16:00-22:00.
Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to the collective agreement.
Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
