Personal Assistant to Man in Älta

Assistanskraft AB is now seeking a personal assistant for a man with ALS living in Älta. This assignment will be starting from the ground up, and we're looking for assistants who are prepared to be part of the startup phase. The client needs support in his daily life with both basic and other ADL services. The work will initially be during day/evening hours, where you as an assistant will be close at hand and provide individually tailored support based on the client's needs and routines. You need to be able to receive and follow verbal instructions as well as work according to written routines. It's important that you are engaged, calm, empathetic and have the ability to notice support needs – without passively waiting for guidance. The position covers both weekdays and weekends. There is an opportunity to work extra as needed and potentially get more shifts over time. We're looking for someone who: Is calm, secure and attentive. Is responsible and flexible. Can work independently and take own initiatives. Has a respectful and professional manner. Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and comprehension. Has experience with similar assignments Meritorious: Has a twinkle in your eye Ability to prepare nutritious and varied meals. Other Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
