About the Position
Our client is a woman in her 50s living in her own apartment in Vaggeryd who needs assistance around the clock. As a personal assistant in this role, you will assist the client where her functional limitations restrict her daily activities. Tasks include personal care, household chores such as cooking and cleaning, communication support, and assistance with various everyday activities. She enjoys taking walks, listening to music, reading newspapers, and going to county dances. Heavy lifting is required as our client uses a wheelchair.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is empathetic, clear, and naturally brings calm and security to those you meet. You are self-confident, can be firm when the situation requires it, and enjoy working in a structured manner. You are flexible and can step in on short notice, thorough, clear, and experienced working both as part of a team and independently. We believe you have experience as a personal assistant or similar work in healthcare, as well as lifting and transferring patients. Experience working with people with diabetes and using low-emotional-intensity communication is a plus, as challenging workdays do occur. We would appreciate if you have some experience with visual support, as we use this method. To be considered for this position, you must be fluent in Swedish.

Part-time position at approximately 50% (5 overnight shifts in 4 weeks) plus hourly temporary work
Working hours include day, evening, night (on-call), and weekends

You will have the opportunity for orientation and shadowing with an experienced assistant
