About the assignment
Together with the client, you will plan the day based on her wishes, needs, and daily mood. As a personal assistant, you provide reliable support in everyday life and work with patience, attentiveness, and an encouraging approach to create conditions for a fulfilling and meaningful day.
The client appreciates both social interaction and quiet moments. She enjoys visiting her daughter, attending language cafés, having coffee, or watching TV together. When weather permits, she enjoys sitting on the patio, while she also sometimes appreciates stillness and time for herself.
As a personal assistant, you help with personal care, dressing and undressing, and daily household tasks such as cooking, baking, shopping, and light housework. The work also includes tube feeding and other care services. You support and encourage the client to participate in activities and carry out various daily tasks according to her own abilities.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a woman who preferably has life experience and genuine commitment to supporting others. You enjoy working independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a motivating and positive attitude.
To thrive in this role, you need to be attentive, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You are confident, can adapt to different situations, and contribute to a positive and respectful environment. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Experience as a personal assistant or other care work is a merit, but we also welcome those without previous experience who have the right personal qualities.
The client has limited verbal communication ability and communicates through body language, facial expressions, and other signals. It is therefore important that you are observant, empathetic, and able to interpret and understand her way of expressing herself.
About the position
Part-time substitute work with possibility of fixed hours
Working hours consist of day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, sleeping on-call (4 hours waiting time), and sometimes 24-hour shifts
