As an hourly temp with us, you're an important part of our operations and contribute to safety and continuity for our customers when regular staff are absent.
About the Role
As a personal assistant, you help customers with what comes up in their daily lives. Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Each customer is unique, and work tasks vary based on individual needs.
The work may include help with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as household tasks and activities inside and outside the home. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a safe and smooth-functioning everyday life.
To thrive as a personal assistant, it's important that there's good chemistry between you and the customer. Since each assistance assignment is unique, we'll learn more about you during the recruitment process to create the best possible match. You'll receive information about which customer(s) you may work with and how the work is organized in each assignment.
At Humana, it's important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in the collaboration. That's why all new assistants receive a tailored introduction, both to the professional role and to the specific customer you'll be working with.

We're looking for someone who is good at building positive relationships, has strong commitment, takes responsibility, and adapts easily to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and wishes, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible – this increases the chance we can match you with the right assignment.
We're looking for someone who meets the following:
has good knowledge of Swedish
wants to work as an hourly temp in addition to your regular employment
has previous experience working as a personal assistant or in similar work
It's also a merit if you:
have a B driving license and access to a car
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Work Hours and Employment Type
As an hourly temp, you work as needed with one or more of our customers in Växjö, Tingsryd, or Alvesta. Work hours vary based on customer needs and may include day, evening, night, weekday, and weekend shifts. We try to match your availability and preferences with the organization's needs as much as possible.

Working at Humana
A requirement to begin employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID document and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
Under current legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record check from all employees who will work as personal assistants with children under 18 years of age. Therefore, you'll need to provide an excerpt from the police's criminal record register and suspicion register before any potential employment. More information will be provided if you advance in the recruitment process.
