As an hourly temporary employee with us, you are an important part of our operations and contribute to security and continuity for our customers when regular staff are absent.
About the Position
In your role as a personal assistant, you help customers with whatever comes up in their daily lives. Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). Each customer is unique and work tasks vary based on individual needs.
The work may include, for example, helping with mobility, personal care, training and communication, as well as everyday chores and activities inside and outside the home. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life function safely and smoothly.
For you to thrive as a personal assistant, it's important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer. Since each assistance arrangement is unique, we will learn more about you during the recruitment process to create the best possible match. You will receive information about which customer or customers you may work with and how the work is organized in each assignment.
At Humana, it's important that both you as an assistant and the customer feel secure in your collaboration. Therefore, all new assistants receive customized orientation, both to the profession and to the specific customer you will work with.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is good at building positive relationships, has great commitment, is willing to take responsibility, and adapts easily to new situations. Since all our customers have different needs and wishes, we ask you to answer the selection questions as clearly and thoroughly as possible – this increases the chance that we can match you with the right assignment.
We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
has good knowledge of Swedish
wants to work as an hourly temporary employee in addition to your regular employment
has previous experience working as a personal assistant or in similar work
It is also an advantage if you:
have a B driver's license and access to a car
want and can work 24-hour shifts with standby time
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours and Employment Form
As an hourly temporary employee, you work as needed for one or more of our customers in Vaggeryd or Skillingaryd. Working hours vary based on customer needs and may include day, evening, night, 24-hour, weekday, and weekend shifts. We will try as much as possible to match your availability and preferences with the organization's needs.

Working at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
