JOB DUTIES As a personal assistant in this assignment, you will work to create a safe and structured everyday life for our customer, a middle-aged woman with autism living in Landskrona. The customer's disability involves difficulties with language and communication as well as mental health. This requires that you as an assistant are attentive and mindful of the customer's well-being and expressions, and are calm and confident in yourself with the ability to adapt your own way of communicating and providing support. The assistant team works according to an established pedagogical approach. The work involves providing support in daily routines such as personal care, household chores, participation in day activities, and leisure activities such as walks in nature, swimming, cycling, board games, and singing. You will also provide support in social situations and contribute to an active and meaningful life. You will work together with a team of four personal assistants where dual assistance occurs. Social documentation and time reporting are done in our digital systems as a natural part of the work. The position involves a scheduled arrangement equivalent to full-time, with day, evening, night shifts and every other weekend. Work shifts are 9-20, 20-09 (on-call) or 12.15-17 (dual assistance). QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is calm and confident in yourself, enjoys working in someone's home, and providing personal support. You have experience and/or knowledge of NPF/autism and pedagogical methods, or have the ability to learn. You see your work as a personal assistant as long-term and are committed to ensuring the customer experiences safety, joy, and quality in the service. You are physically capable and enjoy participating together and have the ability to take initiative, follow, and support the customer in activities such as swimming, exercising, cycling, and moving in forests and nature. A big plus is if you can sing/play an instrument as this is an interest of the customer. Pets are present near the customer, which means you cannot have any allergies. Requirements are: • B driver's license for manual transmission to be able to drive the customer's car • Very good Swedish in speech and writing • Calm and confident in yourself, no stress sensitivity. Meritorious are: • Educations such as the children and leisure program, care and nursing program, vocational training in pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems relevant to the field. • Experience working with people with NPF/autism/psychiatry/language difficulties. • Experience with/knowledge of pedagogical methods such as clarifying pedagogy and approach For employment with us, you need an extract from the police's criminal record register referred to as "Work in homes with elderly and people with disabilities". Salary form: Hourly wage. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start: Immediately or by agreement. Working hours: Scheduled. Employment according to PAN agreement.
