Alma Assistans is a committed company that works in collaboration with the client to create personalized assistance. We work closely with the client and understand that good relationships are key to well-functioning assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö. We are looking for someone who wants to work with a cheerful and affectionate 15-year-old boy with a good sense of humor who has ADHD and autism diagnoses, among others. He needs support and supervision around the clock. He needs help with hygiene, showering, taking medication, getting dressed, preparing and tidying up meals, and more. This is a very active and impulsive boy, and as an assistant you must follow his every step to be aware of what is happening and be able to prevent any unforeseen situations and outbursts. He communicates using sounds and sign language. You will be working very closely with the family, so it is important that the cooperation between you works well. We believe you are between 25–45 years old and you need to have a calm personality, patience, and the ability to come up with activities. A lot of time is spent outdoors and in play parks. You need to have knowledge and understanding of his diagnosis and how best to interact with him. On weekdays you will pick him up at home when he comes home from school, and on weekends you will work days/evenings. It is double assistance during all waking hours. The client lives in Surahammar. A driver's license and access to your own car are required.
