Personal Assistant Needed – Be Part of Creating an Active and Meaningful Daily Life
We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of the daily life of an active 26-year-old man. He needs support in all aspects of his everyday routine, but he also brings a lot of joy, energy, and warmth.
As a personal assistant, your mission is to encourage and enable participation. The client is non-verbal, which makes it especially important that you are attentive and empathetic, with the ability to understand his wishes, needs, and signals. Communication is supported through sign language and pictures, which are actively used in daily life.
Your work includes support and assistance in all daily activities, such as:
Personal hygiene and care
Household tasks
Leisure activities and social situations
Structure, security, and supervision around the clock
The client greatly enjoys listening to music, swimming, playing football, and painting. As an assistant, you play an important role in making these interests possible and encouraging them.
Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekends, as the client needs supervision 24/7.
We are looking for someone who:
Is committed and respects the client's self-determination
Is attentive, patient, and responsive
Has the ability to interpret and follow the client's initiatives
Feel comfortable working closely with someone with significant support needs
Speaks and understands Swedish fluently
Experience with personal assistance, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), or working with people with disabilities is a plus, but personal suitability is most important.

About the Position
· Employment level: Part-time/full-time.
· Working hours: 24/7 with 4-hour night shifts on-call.
· Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement, other compensation according to collective agreement.
· Start date: By agreement, for the duration of the assistance assignment.
