About the position Personal assistance is a service provided under LSS (The Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance assignment is uniquely tailored to the customer's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Who are you? The role of personal assistant makes high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is essential that there is good personal chemistry between you and the customer. We are looking for someone who wants to work with a 7-year-old boy who lives with his family on Östermalm in Stockholm. The family sometimes spends weekends at their country house on Älgö in Nacka, which means that work shifts may also take place there. This is an assignment for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be a trusted and important part of the boy's daily life. You will support him in personal care and daily routines, as well as participate in play, activities, and movement. For this position you must: have previous experience working with children with autism have good knowledge of Swedish have experience working with clear structure and low-arousal approach (LAB) as well as adapting communication to the child's needs be able to swim For this position it is an advantage if you: have a driver's license and access to your own car Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working hours, employment percentage, and salary The employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts," with an employment percentage of approximately 50%. Working hours are primarily scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays 16:40–21:00 and daytime on weekends 08:00–20:00, on even weeks. There is also the option for hourly employment if needed – an arrangement that may suit you if you are studying. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
