About the Position We are now seeking a confident, attentive, and positive personal assistant for a man who needs support and help with his daily life. He is communicative and expresses his own needs, telling you what kind of help he requires. As an assistant, you will be an important source of support in his everyday life. The work involves both practical help and contributing to a secure and functioning life based on his needs and wishes. Personal assistance is therefore as much about good interaction and creating trust as it is about the practical tasks. The client has extensive pain issues, which means his energy and activity level can vary from day to day. It is therefore important that you as an assistant are calm, flexible, and attentive to how he's feeling each day. Some days the pace needs to be slow, and other days there may be opportunities to do things together. The position covers three days per week, including both weekdays and weekends. Working hours are 09:00–16:00. We would welcome the opportunity for you to also help out extra as needed. Who Are We Looking For? For this position, we are seeking female personal assistants. This is based on the client's individual needs and wishes, as well as the close and personal nature of the work. We are looking for you who: - Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Have good physical ability - Are at least 18 years old - Feel secure working closely with another person and respect personal boundaries Merits It is a merit if you have: - Experience working as a personal assistant or within care and support - Experience working with people within LSS - Education in care and support or other relevant training - Good computer skills Personal Qualities You are a confident and empathetic person who respects personal boundaries. You are attentive, responsible, and communicate easily. You don't need to be the most talkative person in the world, but you should enjoy social interaction and be willing to be yourself. What matters most is that the personal chemistry works and that we get along well together.
