We are now seeking personal assistants for an assignment with a client in Täby who has extensive and ongoing care needs. The client requires dual assistance around the clock, which means you will always work alongside another personal assistant. As a personal assistant, you are an important part of the client's daily life and contribute to creating security, continuity, and good quality of life. The work involves providing support and help with both personal care and medical procedures included in the assignment. About the Assignment The client has extensive personal assistance needs. The assignment includes, among other things: personal care and help with basic needs tracheostomy care management of respiratory aids, such as ventilators and cough assists PEG and tube feeding transfers and positioning help with communication and daily routines following individual routines and instructions regarding the client's care and support The work is conducted with dual assistance around the clock and involves active assistance. We Are Looking for You We are looking for someone with experience in personal assistance who is confident working with people with extensive and complex care needs. It is particularly valuable if you have experience with: tracheostomy/tracheostomy care ventilators or other respiratory aids cough assist machines PEG and tube feeding advanced personal care working with people with significant physical disabilities You need to be thorough, responsible, and comfortable in situations that require you to stay calm and follow established routines. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, ability to collaborate, and the ability to create a safe and respectful relationship with the client.
