About the Client and Workplace We are now seeking a personal assistant for a young man who lives in Eskelhem on Gotland. He has an intellectual disability with autistic traits and needs support in his daily life. The client also has diabetes and epilepsy. You will therefore receive introduction, training, and delegation in diabetes management. The client attends a day activity center in Visby four days a week and has an active leisure life. He enjoys, among other things, air rifle shooting, bowling, and playing video games. As an assistant, you will be an important part in enabling both his daily routines and leisure activities. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking a confident and positive person who can support and motivate the client in daily life and serve as a good role model. You should have good collaboration skills, be communicative, responsible, and attentive. You are respectful and friendly in your interactions with others and have an interest in building relationships and working long-term. Experience in personal assistance or work within care and support is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the right attitude and genuine commitment. Introduction and guidance are planned before you work independently. You need to have good ability to communicate in Swedish in both spoken and written form. Employment Terms Employment form: Permanent Employment degree: Full-time or part-time Working hours are arranged for afternoons and evenings on weekdays and weekends. On weekdays, work shifts typically start around 15:00, and on weekends, working hours can be arranged around the clock. Schedule is determined in dialogue. Additional Information A driver's license and access to your own car are required. You must also be a non-smoker.
