About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the customer with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the customer's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Our customer is a 28-year-old cheerful and energetic young woman with an intellectual disability. The customer communicates using TAKK (sign support) and pictures, and has many of her communication programs on her iPad as well as visual schedules on the wall. She needs help and support with all daily situations. The customer enjoys listening to music, dancing, exercising, swimming in the pool, horseback riding, and spending time with friends doing various activities such as bowling and Jumpyard. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. For you to thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the customer. In your work as a personal assistant, it is beneficial if you enjoy exercise, dancing, and physical activity. You are not afraid of horses and have no problem swimming in the pool. It is important that you have a technical interest and find it easy to use apps. You are a cheerful and creative young woman who is secure and mature as a person and living in or near Helsingborg or Mörarp. You need to have great patience, be responsible, and enjoy taking care of other people. Be cheerful, social, and have a positive outlook on life. Be able to or interested in learning TAKK and low-affective interaction techniques. The personal chemistry between you and our customer is crucial for this position, which is why we encourage even you without previous experience as a personal assistant to apply. Requirements for the Position: B-category driving license (and several years of driving experience) and access to your own car good command of Swedish, both spoken and written no pet allergies and no fear of horses good physical condition non-smoker Merits for the Position: experience with similar work experience with TAKK and low-affective interaction techniques familiarity with physical activities such as exercise and dancing Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Type, and Salary: The current employment form is "hourly position," which means work as needed with varying hours during daytime, evening, and nighttime on weekends. At night, there is 9.5 h on-call time. Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation according to the collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
