About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). In your role as a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that comes up in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. The client is a cheerful and social girl of 1.5 years who lives with her family in central Stockholm. The role involves being close support in her development, where training, play, and care are woven together in daily life. A central part of the work is movement training and stimulating the girl's motor skills. The assignment also includes personal care, self-care in the form of medication administration, and handling and maintenance of medical technical aids (such as an inhaler, PEP mask, and cough machine). As an assistant, you work closely with the family in their home. We are looking for someone who is attentive and flexible, with a good ability to balance training, activities, care, and rest based on the girl's daily condition. Since the girl undergoes treatment trips abroad approximately 3–4 times per year (approximately 1–3 weeks per occasion), there are good opportunities for you to accompany her on these trips. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and who finds it easy to create security, attachment, and pedagogical contact. You are calm and confident in your role, have good structure, and feel comfortable working in a family environment. The role requires a high level of hygiene awareness and understanding of infection prevention work. Because the girl needs continuity in her daily life, we prefer you to seek a long-term assignment. For this position, you must: Have good knowledge of Swedish Have good physical ability and an ergonomic approach to lifting and transfers. Be completely smoke and nicotine-free. Not wear perfume or strong scents while working For this position, it is advantageous if you: Are a trained nursing assistant Have experience with alternative communication (AAC) Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of approximately 32% Working hours are scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays according to the following schedule: Friday: 06:30–08:30 and 15:30–20:00 (split shift) Saturday: 07:00–13:00 Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to the collective agreement.
