About the Position
You will be a close and reliable support in his daily life. Your responsibilities may include:
Helping with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and toilet visits
Providing support during meals and other practical tasks
Helping with transfers and use of assistive devices
Providing structure, clear instructions, and communication support
Being attentive and preventing falls and other risk situations
Accompanying and supporting him during activities
Encouraging him to do what he can manage himself and maintain his abilities
He communicates verbally but may sometimes need extra time, clarity, and support to understand and be understood. Therefore, you need to be patient, attentive, and able to adapt your communication to his needs.
The work takes place in close collaboration with his mom and others around him. It's important that you understand that the workplace is also the family's home.
