Furuboda Assistans is a private personal assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the nonprofit organization Föreningen Furuboda. About the Job
I am a 21-year-old woman moving to Lund in the fall; until then I live in Åkarp. I have a significant disability and need help with all basic daily needs. Despite my major limitations, I have plenty of energy and enjoy being active, meeting people, and doing things.
I am now looking for assistants who can give me the opportunity to live my life on my own terms. For us to get along well together, I think you are:
A woman, aged 25-30
Physically strong and have lots of energy
Have Swedish as your native language or equivalent proficiency, as you are my voice and interpreter
Your workplace is both in my home and wherever I am during the day. You need to be able to work independently but also enjoy collaborating as part of a team with my other assistants. You must enjoy joining in everything from horseback riding, swimming, concerts and theater to walks, outings, café visits, and spontaneous activities.
Bonus if you have experience with AAC and communication support such as Widgit-go via message board and app. Preferably you should have a driver's license.
Work hours: mainly afternoons/evenings, nights, and weekends.
Employment: fixed schedule and possible permanent position at 75–80%, or alternatively hourly employment. Start as soon as possible. Salary according to collective agreement.
