We are looking for dedicated, thoughtful, and responsible personal assistants for an active 20-year-old man with autism and epilepsy in Stockholm.
We are looking for someone who is active, positive, attentive, and takes initiative, and who enjoys being outdoors and doing various activities with the client. You need to be in good physical condition, be attentive, and be able to keep the client under constant supervision.
During walks and activities, you need to be able to walk with the client, hold his hand, and stay close to him to create a sense of safety and security. It is important that you are constantly attentive to his needs and signals.
We are looking for someone who:
.Has experience working with people with autism and epilepsy – this is a requirement.
.Is in good physical condition and enjoys walking and being active outdoors.
.Is attentive, responsive, and confident in your approach.
.Is positive, takes responsibility, and shows initiative.
.Speaks Swedish well, both in speech and comprehension.
.Is a non-smoker.
.Can work independently and follow routines related to the client.
.Is comfortable working closely with the client and supervising him during the entire shift.
Work hours: We are primarily looking for someone who can work full-time.
First schedule options:
• 08:00–16:00
• 16:00–08:00
Other possible shifts:
• 08:00–19:00
• 19:00–08:00
We have 24-hour staffing with day, afternoon, and night shifts.
We are also looking for active and flexible substitutes for extra work.
Workplace: The work is normally based in the Djurgården area of Stockholm, but may also be located at other places in connection with activities and outings.
Important in the role: You should be a person who is present and keeps track of the client at all times. You need to be able to join in on walks and various activities, be attentive to the client's signals, and contribute to a safe and positive everyday life.
It is important that you are active and enjoy being outdoors, while at the same time being calm, responsive, and able to create a sense of security for the client.
Before the interview: Bring a current certificate of no criminal record and certificate of no criminal investigation to the interview.
