My name is Ilse :)
I'm a cheerful, lively, and curious girl who lives in Nybro with my mom and our three cats.
That's why you need to be able to tolerate fur animals—my cats are important to me and they like to follow me around at home.
I'm looking for a personal assistant for hourly employment who can be a safe and fun part of my everyday life when one of my regular assistants needs to take time off, is sick, etc.
You should be able to step in with short notice, work days, evenings, and nights, as well as weekends.
I have severe epilepsy, autism, and a rare complex tumor disease, which means I need a lot of support, supervision, and a person who can stay one step ahead and help me navigate everyday life safely, both medically and otherwise.
I speak a little English, but I mostly communicate through different sounds, body language, and my own made-up words. I also have a communication board that hopefully might help me a bit over time.
I like to:
- Be outside and explore things
- Swim
- Build and play with Lego
- Play with Barbie
- Play and create things together
At the same time, I'm very sensitive to impressions, so it's important that you can read me, understand when it becomes too much, and help me create calm and safety.

The most important thing for me is not that you have long experience with my specific diagnoses. The most important thing is that you are secure, engaged, curious, and want to get to know me.
Personal chemistry is more important than experience, but I see it as important that you approach this with the intention of working with me long-term and not short-term, as I need stability and long-lasting relationships.
It might be good for you to know that I'm sensitive to infections and unfortunately there can be quite a few quarantine days when you need to stay home at the slightest symptom. But we'll tell you more about this when we meet :)
