Omtanken Assistans provides personal assistance to people with disabilities who have been granted assistance under LSS or SFB. We want everyone at Omtanken to feel a sense of community, which is why we maintain close collaboration at all levels. I am a 4-year-old boy living with my mom, dad, and older brother. I am looking for secure and considerate personal assistants who want to be an important part of my daily life. I have active assistance around the clock, so it is essential that you as an assistant are present. It is important that you as an assistant can follow routines and job descriptions, but also adapt to how I am feeling on any given day. When I am feeling good, it is important that I receive the right stimulation, activities, and opportunities to play. I need full physical support in all activities. My care needs include care assistance, inhalation, bipap/airvo, tube feeding (gastrostomy), and medication administration. As my assistant, you need to be able to read my condition, my signals, and my body language. About You You are calm, reliable, responsible, and have a warm manner with a genuine interest in making my daily life safe and meaningful. Previous experience as a personal assistant is desirable but personal suitability is most important. You will work in my home where my family also lives. You need to have a good ability to balance working with me while also respecting my relationship with the rest of my family—becoming a natural part of our family's daily life.
