I am looking for you who is a non-smoker, aged 20-38, and who could fit into my daily life. You must be reasonably tech-savvy, i.e., not unfamiliar with fixing computers, iPhones, and using various tools. I also want you to speak Swedish and English fluently. Other important qualities: You should be easy to get along with people of different ages. You should be able to see what needs to be done without me telling you. You should not be dependent on your mobile phone during work hours! Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing. Good English in both speech and writing. A driver's license is a requirement! If you don't have one, you don't need to apply. I have my own car that the assistants drive. A bit about me and my injury: I am a man in my 50s who is spinal cord injured from an accident. I am paralyzed from the shoulders down and I drive a Permobil with suck and blow steering. I myself am an outgoing man who likes to be where things happen and to socialize with people. When the weather doesn't allow going outside, I like to watch a good movie or tinker and fix things around the home. I live in an apartment downtown in Västerås and most of the work takes place there. It is very important that I can trust you and that you take the job seriously. Personal chemistry is much more important than qualifications! Experience in care is a big plus but not a requirement! The tasks include managing my personal hygiene, physiotherapy, taking care of the home, cooking, driving, and other everyday tasks that I need help with. Here's what the work schedule looks like for us: 24-hour shift: You start at 14:00 and end at 14:00 the next day. Approximately 1 24-hour shift every other week. (4.5 hours are set as waiting time/on-call). 3-hour shift: You start at 11:00 and end at 14:00. (Approximately 3-4 shifts per week) The position is approximately 50%, suitable for someone who may be studying or has another job that can be combined with this.
