DUTIES
We are looking for you to work with a 59-year-old man with a diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis).
As a personal assistant, you work closely with the customer in the customer's home. In your work, you provide support, care, and assistance to a person who needs help managing their daily life. It is important that you are attentive to changes in the customer's medical condition.
The customer's interests are crafts, carpentry, photography, and taking trips in his permobil when weather permits. You should ideally share similar interests and be responsive to the customer's wishes.
You will be part of a team of six people where you work both independently and sometimes with a colleague alongside the customer during your shifts. Contact with animals may occur.
Duties include daytime, evening, night, and weekend hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is responsible, secure, and stable in their work approach. You have strong empathetic abilities and treat the user with respect and professionalism. You are detail-oriented and have a talent for understanding and acting on the user's needs and wishes.
The work requires good teamwork skills and you actively contribute to a functioning team and communicate clearly and attentively with both colleagues and family members. You thrive in an environment where conditions can change and have the ability to adapt quickly and stay focused even when the work varies.
Previous experience with personal assistance and care experience, as well as knowledge of the relevant diagnosis, are merits.
A driver's license and car are required.
