The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are governed primarily by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Care Act, and we shall implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual to meet their needs. The assignment involves significant customer focus and service mindset.
LSS and Social Psychiatry Provider with just over 350 permanent employees is a provider operation directed toward children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL among others and have responsibility for implementing services regulated by these laws. Our operations are characterized by placing the individual at the center and collaborating to meet individual needs. The operation has strong customer focus, good service mindset, and provides conditions for boundary-crossing work that is both inspiring and competence-developing.

WORK TASKS
We are looking for someone who wants exciting and developmental work. Working as a personal assistant involves varied work performed both in and outside our clients' home environments. As a personal assistant, you work with clients who have been granted personal assistance under the LSS Act.
About the position and who we are looking for:
We are now seeking an engaged and responsible assistant for a man in his 50s who lives in central Motala. The man requires constant supervision, and the work tasks consist mainly of care support in the form of assistance with hygiene, meals, and household chores. Also medical services such as medication management. During the week, social activities also occur, such as walks, coffee/lunch breaks, and shopping.
Working hours will be scheduled for day/evening/every other weekend.
Interviews take place continuously during the application period as employment is desired immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a high school diploma.
It is meritorious if you are a nursing assistant or childcare worker.
You organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you start. You set time frames and meet deadlines.
You actively take initiative in social settings, step forward, and find it easy to create new relationships and maintain them.
You work well with other people. You relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a humble focus on the common goal.
You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to problems that arise.
