We are now seeking an Educational Support Specialist for Individual Educational Support in Training (IPSU), where you will support adult participants with various disabilities to complete training programs and strengthen their path toward employment and self-sufficiency. About the role As an Educational Support Specialist, you will: - Assess the participant's support needs in the educational setting. - Identify participant needs, identify and test out pedagogical assistive technology. - Provide individual support regarding study techniques, planning, structure, and learning strategies. - Adapt support based on the participant's development and circumstances. - Document interventions and report according to assignment requirements. - Collaborate with training providers, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and other relevant actors. - Work both digitally and on-site based on the participant's needs. Qualifications For this role, you must have: - At least 1 year of documented experience working with people with disabilities in an educational setting. - At least 1 year of documented experience working with cognitive assistive technology and compensatory strategies in an educational setting. - Experience adapting pedagogical approaches based on the individual's needs and circumstances. - Experience supporting people with, for example, neuropsychiatric disabilities, mental health challenges, reading and writing difficulties, visual or hearing impairments. The target group within IPSU includes these groups. - Strong ability to work independently, plan your work and prioritize tasks, and collaborate with training providers, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and other actors around the participant. - Good digital competence and experience documenting and using digital tools in pedagogical work. - Good communication skills and express yourself fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing. Meritorious It is an advantage if you have: - Special education training or ongoing further education in special education. - Experience with labor market training, adult education, folk education, or other educational initiatives for adults. - Experience assessing support needs and testing assistive technology. - Experience working with accessible learning environments and adapting educational materials. - Experience collaborating across agencies, training providers, and support services. - Knowledge of work-related rehabilitation or labor market policy initiatives. - Category B driver's license.
