Jelgavas Paula Bendrupa Elementary School invites a PEDAGOGY ASSISTANT for an indefinite period at full-time employment. Job Responsibilities: assist students with learning, social, and psychological difficulties in implementing the basic education program in general education institutions to promote improved academic achievement, increase their self-esteem, and ensure successful adaptation in the educational environment, in cooperation with subject teachers, class teachers, educational institution support staff and administration, analyze each student's learning, psychological and adaptation problems and determine the methods to be used to address them, provide individual support in developing understanding of learning tasks, paying attention to key words and terminology usage, together with the student prepare and promote the student's skills in using reminders during classes for mastering educational content in the Latvian language, collaborate with subject teachers, providing support during classes, as well as encourage and support students in using the state language, prepare visual aids for visualizing educational content, jointly with the subject teacher plan the work to be done in class – class objectives, material to be taught, teaching methods to be used.
