The Educator Role
The overarching purpose and goal of the position is that our participants, with the help of individually tailored pedagogical support (IPSU), can become independent and complete educational initiatives with satisfactory results.
We are looking for an educator for hourly employment in Vimmerby. The position is part-time and working hours are planned according to a schedule provided in advance, which gives you good advance notice and clarity regarding your work volume each week.
As an educator, you support individual participants who have a functional variation and pursue education through Arbetsförmedlingen. Support is provided in the specific areas where the participant needs help, that is, through pedagogical interventions and work with assistive technology. Based on the needs in the educational situation, IPSU is customized with the right expertise, pedagogical interventions and assistive technology for each participant. You work with participants at the training sites. Travel to various training sites occurs.
You are part of a team together with additional educators in nearby areas as well as with specialists and coordinators. To thrive in the role, you feel comfortable working independently with participants, are solution-focused and flexible. Communication, feedback and building good relationships with participants, colleagues, customers and others comes naturally to you.

Eligibility Requirements
Work Experience
Documented experience working with people with functional variations in an educational setting for at least 1 year. This means you have experience as a teacher, teacher's assistant, student assistant or similar role in a school environment.
Documented experience working with cognitive assistive technology in an educational setting for at least 1 year, i.e., you have used assistive technology in your work with students.
Work experience must be verified with a certificate from a previous employer.
Education Requirements
Relevant education in pedagogy and/or work with people with functional variations. Proficiency in Swedish language, both spoken and written.
