We are now looking for a Payments Officer for the Accounts Receivable team, which is part of Financial Control & Services within the Agriculture division. Accounts Receivable handles customer receivables for several companies within the Lantmännen group and is responsible for ensuring efficient and quality-assured processes within the Order to Cash flow. As a Payments Officer with us, you will be part of a team of twelve people where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared responsibility are highly valued. With us, you have an important role in ensuring high quality in the process for incoming payments and that work is carried out in accordance with the group's policies and guidelines. Through your work, you contribute to accurate accounts receivable and an efficient Order to Cash flow. What you will do In the role of Payments Officer, you will work with ongoing accounting and closing work within accounts receivable. You are responsible for handling and reconciling incoming payments and related processes within accounts receivable. You work to ensure that payments are registered correctly, identify and investigate discrepancies, and handle payment-related customer matters. You will also work with banking-related tasks. The role involves independent responsibility for driving and following up customer matters from start to finish, while contributing to developing efficient working methods within the incoming payment process. You will also have close collaboration with other teams within Financial Control & Services, such as Accounting, Credit Control, and Accounts Payable, as well as with other functions within the organization to ensure high quality. The position is based at our office in central Malmö and you will report to the Manager Accounts Receivable. What you need to succeed and thrive You have: Post-secondary education in finance, for example a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience working in finance Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel. Experience working in business systems. M3 is a merit. Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You are: Relationship-building and service-oriented with a strong ability to create and develop positive working relationships. Through a professional and trustworthy approach, you build good collaborations with both internal and external contacts. Structured and have good planning skills, which makes you skilled at organizing information and resources and prioritizing work tasks based on business needs.
