As an operator at the 135th Security Squadron, you will work within the military security service with a focus on collecting security intelligence aimed at indicating and identifying suspected security threats to the Armed Forces' assets of value. You will carry out a highly relevant task with a constantly changing threat picture. The work is very long-term and conducted with high discretion. As a person, you should be patient, results-oriented, and have a high capacity for creative thinking. Main responsibilities Daily work is varied and includes everything from training and education to conducting operational activities. An important part is also developing the activities within your future work area. Furthermore, you lead, are responsible for, and develop your team and have direct personnel responsibility. The employment begins with an approximately 6-month basic course. After successful completion, you will be placed in an appropriate position. Position-specific training begins after the common basic course. Furthermore, you should have a high stress threshold and be accustomed to changing environments as the operational task is very dynamic. Requirements Completed and approved military basic training Category B driving license Officer's degree At least 2 years of work experience as either GSS/K or OF/SO Trained as a group leader Swedish citizenship Completed and approved results in accordance with FMFysS No or mild fur allergy with medication Approved results on selection tests based on overall assessment Meritorious qualifications Experience and training in covert collection in terrain and urban environments Work in security unit service or reconnaissance service in the Armed Forces or similar organization Completed and approved military police training Military driving permits and further driving training civilian/military Experience from national/international deployment Other information Type of employment: Permanent Placement location: Kungsängen, Livgardet During the recruitment process, selection tests as per the above requirements will be conducted over four days. The test will be physically and mentally demanding and you should not drive a car on the Sunday following the test. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel to conduct international deployment. We guard the royal palaces, we have security and ground combat units.
