Jelgavas valstspilsētas pašvaldības iestāde "Jelgavas pašvaldības policija" invites applications for an Inspector position in the Patrol Police Division Requirements for candidates: compliance with the requirements of Part 1 of Article 21 of the Law "On Police"; secondary education and willingness to acquire new skills; excellent Latvian language proficiency – Level C, Stage 1; Category B driver's license and 3 years of driving experience; good physical fitness; good computer skills; high sense of responsibility, good communication skills, correctness, honesty, and ability to resolve conflict situations, discipline. Job duties: ensuring public order in the municipality's administrative territory, supervision of compliance with municipal binding regulations and other regulatory acts; patrolling assigned routes, responding to received calls; prevention, detection, and elimination of administrative offenses and administrative detention of persons; preparation of administrative documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Offered salary (gross): 1013.00 EUR per month before tax deduction (position classified in family 32.3, Level III, salary group 8); subsistence allowance of 1.55 euro per hour worked; in addition to the mandatory annual leave provided by the Labor Law, paid additional leave according to employee work performance results (three or five working days).
