JOB DUTIES
As a Parking Enforcement Officer in Ystad Municipality, you will be part of a team working to ensure that current traffic regulations are followed. The assignment is both broad and service-oriented, where you work preventively by informing the public about parking rules and contributing to improved traffic flow and traffic safety.
The work may also include other tasks within the Traffic Unit's area of responsibility, such as traffic diversions and assignments as a market square warden, as well as administrative tasks. Working hours are scheduled, and weekend duty is included.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
• Training in public law parking enforcement
• Category B driver's license
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Beyond this, we are looking for someone who is service-oriented, calm, and professional in your interactions. You have good communication skills, are attentive, and can handle conflicts in a constructive manner. You remain stable even in pressured situations and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You enjoy working in a role with much contact with people and have a solution-oriented approach in your daily work.
It is also advantageous if you have completed training in work on the road.
