About the company
Widegrens Gård specializes in organic cultivation of potatoes, carrots, and onions with our own packing facility where we wash, sort, and package our products. In addition to this, we also grow grain and rapeseed. Our carrot packing facility is located in Atlingbo and our potato and onion packing facility is in Follingbo. The cultivation, which is completely organic, is spread across central Gotland.
We like to describe ourselves as a stable growing company where much still remains to be done and opportunities are vast. We are informal and uncomplicated with a short chain of command in a flat structure. Our employees are the most important thing we have, and it is all of our team members working together who build the company.
We currently have approximately 45 employees and are reinforced by a large group of summer workers in the fields during the summer season.

About the position

As a production worker with us, you work with sorting and packing potatoes, carrots, and onions in our packing facilities in Atlingbo and Follingbo. With the help of optical sorting, modern packing machines, and close collaboration with your colleagues, you ensure that products maintain high quality and are ready for delivery.
Work tasks
In this role, you will, among other things:
Sort products transported on conveyor belts
Set up machines according to customer orders
Pack products in bags, boxes, and crates
Label and mark orders
Register production information
Participate in loading finished shipments
The work takes place in a team where we work together towards daily deadlines ahead of ferry departures. Therefore, teamwork ability, responsibility, and a positive attitude are important qualities.
The work is physically active and involves some lifting, which means you need to be in good physical condition.
