Make a difference. Every day. The Adult Psychiatry ADHD Clinic in Lund opened in 2020 with a mission to treat adult patients with an ADHD diagnosis. We are a well-coordinated team consisting of physicians, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, medical secretaries, and a rehabilitation coordinator. Our work is based on the standardized care process for the NDD group (neurodevelopmental disorders) decided by Region Skåne. This means that our interventions are based on the principle of "stepped care." The multimodal interventions require collaboration across professional boundaries and cooperation with other healthcare facilities. Examples include our well-established collaboration with the Addiction Clinic and regular coordination meetings with general psychiatry clinics and the Regional Habilitation unit. In addition to providing excellent care for patients, we continuously work to maintain team cohesion and a pleasant workplace. We also regularly offer internal training opportunities, both at the facility-wide and unit level, as well as regional training. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as specialist physician/senior physician, you will conduct patient visits, both initial and follow-up appointments. Initial visits often take place together with a nurse who then manages medication titration. Most patients have an assigned primary care contact, usually a nurse, who ensures continuity in care. Your responsibilities also include documentation, prescription writing, and issuing medical certificates. In your work, you collaborate both within the team and with other healthcare facilities. The position includes on-call duties, currently approximately two shifts per month. At the clinic, you will have a central role in ongoing development work. To safeguard patient safety and work environment, and to ensure quality assurance of psychiatry's educational mission toward healthcare education programs, psychiatry has implemented a locum physician hiring freeze. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You also have specialist competence in psychiatry. Swedish language skills at minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. You must have completed or have planned clinical supervision training. For employment as a senior physician, you must also have: - full-time service of at least three years (documented effective time) - clinical proficiency and independence within psychiatry - a defined medical responsibility and knowledge area - documented teaching and supervision experience. At a university healthcare facility, physicians are required to have pedagogical experience and training. You may have acquired this through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students, physicians in training, and as a co-supervisor or main supervisor of doctoral candidates. Clearly describe in your application completed or planned pedagogical courses (documentation), experience with supervision and teaching at various levels. In outpatient care, we have the benefit of working distinctly in a team-based manner; therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys this work model and has good collaboration skills.
