About the Assessment Unit Psychiatric Assessment Clinic Rosenlund (PUM) is Psychiatry South Stockholm's shared referral clinic. It is a clinic with the ambition to be leading in the region regarding psychiatric diagnostics and care level assessments. The mission is to assess patients and, if there is a need for specialist psychiatry interventions, to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments. Following assessment, treatment can be offered within Psychiatry South Stockholm or referral can be made to another appropriate institution. The clinic's staff consists of physicians, psychologists, nurses, and medical secretaries. We do not have any contracted personnel. The clinic is well-organized and operates in accordance with guidelines within Region Stockholm and the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. The clinic is located adjacent to the Psychiatric Emergency Clinic in fine premises at the top of Grindhuset on the Rosenlund healthcare district on Södermalm in Stockholm, with excellent public transportation connections—buses, subway, and commuter trains within walking distance. This position is ideal for a diagnostically oriented psychiatrist. There is an opportunity to participate in on-call duties within PSS, but this is not a requirement. There are opportunities for part-time work. Your Work as a Specialist Physician Your duties as a senior physician/specialist physician consist of standard work as a specialist physician at a psychiatric outpatient clinic. We are pleased if you enjoy working in a team and can contribute your knowledge across professional boundaries. Supervision of staff and students is included in the position. The possibility to participate in a research project is available.
