We connect a greener world. www.nkt.com Job description: Develop and integrate industrial systems in an advanced production environment in Karlskrona Our Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE department is now seeking a professional who, in a project-based role, will optimize and further develop industrial automation and system integration for our high-tech and unique high-voltage cable production. Work broadly with industrial systems and networks as an OT Engineer We are committed to maintaining state-of-the-art production with the latest technology and developing innovative automation systems for our cable manufacturing. Within Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, we work on developing OT, industrial automation, and electrical power systems. Before automation and OT solutions are implemented in production, we have a lab environment where our team members can test and validate their solutions. Your work tasks may include: • Lead and manage projects • Participate in requirements definition and solution design, in collaboration with automation engineers, IT/OT specialists, process engineers, and system providers • Work on compliance with the NIS Directive and cybersecurity within industrial networks and systems • Lead and plan testing and updating of systems and industrial networks • Develop, configure, and own/manage industrial systems As an OT Engineer, you will become an important part of an engaged team at Power Systems & Operational Technology CoE, consisting of approximately 10 professionals with high technical expertise, where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and support are integral parts of everyday work. Profile description: Experience in industrial automation, system integration, and IT, combined with a collaborative personality We are seeking someone who wants to work in projects and who appreciates varied tasks. To thrive and perform well in this role, you need commitment and motivation. You work systematically, are efficient, and collaborate well with your colleagues.
